Russell Brand’s wife, Laura Gallacher, has found herself in a difficult place, following the conviction of her husband.

Following the unanimous guilty verdicts, onlookers and family friends have raised growing concerns over the emotional state of his loyal wife as she struggles with the aftermath of her husband’s conviction.
New Details Shed Light On Laura Gallacher’s Marriage To Russell Brand

An emotional Laura was escorted into a waiting vehicle after her husband of nine years was convicted of rape and three counts of sexual assault. The heartbreaking scene prompted associates and social media observers to question the extreme nature of her devotion.
A former colleague of Laura’s father, Bernard Gallacher, remarked that Laura increasingly appeared like a “hostage” to her husband’s spiraling legal troubles.
Despite growing up in luxury, her family reportedly had reservations about her marrying the much-older star.
However, friends noted that her protective father made a court appearance out of deep concern for his daughter’s well-being.
“I think he doesn’t like the fact that he’s [Brand’s] married to his daughter,” a friend noted to The Daily Mail. “He’s upset, he’s worried, and I think he’s angry, but he’s a very controlled man.”
Insiders noted that while there isn’t any bad blood between Russell and Bernard, the latter is definitely “appalled” by what his daughter is going through. Family insiders also reveal that those closest to the former art student remain focused on shielding her and her children from the harsh realities of Russell’s conviction.
The Family Is Under ‘Considerable Strain’ As Sister Kirsty Battles Regret Over Introducing The Couple

In addition to the growing concerns following Laura’s emotional courtroom breakdown, details have emerged about how the disgraced star’s conviction is straining ties across the entire Gallacher clan.
Before the shocking allegations surfaced, the couple had settled into a wellness-focused lifestyle in the Oxfordshire countryside. However, the reality of his criminal conviction for rape and sexual assault instantly threw Laura’s supportive family into crisis.
Her mother, Lesley, is reportedly desperately attempting to keep the family grounded while encouraging Laura to pack up and move back to England with her three children.
Meanwhile, Laura’s older sister, former Sky Sports host Kirsty Gallacher, is said to be feeling guilty after having introduced her younger sibling to Russell two decades ago.
“It’s on Kirsty’s shoulders that Russell is now part of the family. They are a family under considerable strain right now,” an insider revealed.
Kirsty initially showed public support for her brother-in-law by sharing his statement online. However, she quickly deleted it after facing backlash.
As such, Kirsty is now strictly focused on shielding her sister. “Life with Russell was all about him. She got used to that. We hope to God that changes now,” explained a concerned family friend.
