Robin Roberts has been part of Good Morning America for decades. Recently, she got a bit of a surprise on the morning show. This came out after she had big news to share with fans.
Robin Roberts Has Been Part Of Good Morning America For Over 30 Years
Roberts is a newscaster who is known for her work with Good Morning America. She had joined the morning news show in 1995, becoming a full-time co-anchor in 2005.
Prior to this, Roberts served as a sportscaster for ESPN for 15 years. She also hosts the Disney+ interview series Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts.
Recently, Roberts and her co-star, George Stephanopoulos, were honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A day after, the two got a surprise on the show with their fellow anchors, Michael Strahan and Ginger Zee, appearing with their own star plaques in the studio.
Later, a cake was brought out, along with what appeared to be champagne. The group clinked their glasses together before Robin took a sip.
However, things took a funny turn, which left Roberts a bit disappointed. Turning to the audience, she explained, “Oh, this is apple juice,” causing them to burst into laughter.
