Heidi Klum‘s Halloween costume delivered the right amount of scare, and it may have spoiled a few surprises for “The Batman Part II.”
The DC sequel has faced several delays, from pushed-back release dates to the recent news that director Matt Reeves has temporarily stepped away.
Now, behind-the-scenes photos from Klum’s gory look appear to have given fans another reason to speculate about the highly anticipated movie.
Heidi Klum’s Spooky Outfit Exposed This ‘Batman Part II’ Villain
The supermodel made a dramatic entrance wearing a large, bloodied hand with long red nails. She completed the look with several rings, including what appeared to be a replica of her wedding band.
The costume was created by Mike Marino and his team at Prosthetic Renaissance, who were involved in the production of part one.
Although Klum’s appearance was enough to grab attention, the items visible in the behind-the-scenes photos quickly became the bigger talking point.
Fans zoomed in on the images and spotted what appeared to be references to several characters who could feature in the sequel.
Some of the items on the shelves included a box labeled “Zsasz,” referencing the Gotham City killer. A facial cast that resembles Brian Tyree Henry was also seen, fuelling speculation that he could be playing Two-Face.
There was also a box marked “OWL 3,” which has led to theories that the secretive Court of Owls could have a part in the film.
The speculation gained more attention because Marino has already confirmed his involvement in the upcoming production. Speaking about the project, the special effects artist described his love for comic books and the excitement of contributing to the franchise.
“We’re doing some really cool makeup in this new movie, so that’s the dream right there,” Marino said per Cosmopolitan.
Robert Pattinson Confirmed Filming of The Second Installment Was Put On Hold

Before Klum’s costume fuelled theories about the sequel’s villains, Robert Pattinson had already offered an update on the production.
The actor, who returns as the lead superhero, addressed the situation of Reeves’s absence while he appeared at a premiere in London.
He revealed that the team needed time to work out how production would proceed. “We’re pausing for a little bit, and then we’re going to figure it all out,” Pattinson said, according to The Blast.
His comments followed reports that Reeves had temporarily withdrawn from the project because of an ongoing family matter.

Who Is Filling In For Matt Reeves During Production?

Following the news about Reeves, filmmaker Steven Soderbergh emerged as the person who would temporarily assist with the production.
Soderbergh has an extensive filmmaking background, with connections to major franchises, including “Star Wars,” although one of his planned projects in the franchise never made it to the screen.
In a statement, the studio expressed its support for the arrangement, explaining how the filmmaker became involved. “As Matt Reeves continues to attend to an ongoing family matter, Steven Soderbergh, as an admirer of Matt’s work, approached Matt and will step in, with the full support of DC Studios,” their message read, per The Blast.
Soderbergh also addressed the development, explaining that Reeves’ work on the first installment had inspired his interest in the project. He described the original film as “stunning, intentional and rigorously coherent.”
All The Reported Release Date Pushbacks For The Movie
With Soderbergh now assisting with production, questions remain about whether the project’s release date would be pushed back for the fourth time.
The blockbuster was scheduled to hit cinemas on October 3, 2025. However, the date was later pushed to October 2, 2026, before being moved again to October 1, 2027.
The delays did not end there. In July 2026, Warner Bros. announced another change, moving the film’s release to February 18, 2028.
With the new date, the franchise is now expected to arrive almost six years after the original debuted in March 2022.
Heidi Klum’s Made Sure To Pay Tribute To Her Husband In Her Gory Look

Amid all the speculation the film has faced, Klum’s costume has put it back under the microscope, thanks to the hints in the background.
However, beyond fan theories, the look also carried a personal message about Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz.
As The Blast reported, the Victoria’s Secret model explained the details of the look with the touches she added. According to her, the thumb ring is a piece she has worn constantly for about twenty years.
Since her husband wasn’t at the party, she found a way to bring him along in spirit, wearing her wedding band.
She also revealed the name “TOM” inscribed on the piece, which was a replica of a real-life tattoo she has on her finger, noting that he is “always” with her.
