An overturned construction crane in Malibu hurt one person on Wednesday.
The crane overturned in the 31300 block of Broad Beach Road, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said just before noon on social media.
As a result, officials encouraged the public to avoid the area until further notice.
One person was entrapped in the wreckage and then hospitalized, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Their condition is unknown.
