The Young and the Restless early weekly spoilers for Oct 19-23, 2026 deliver suspense with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) getting suspicious of at least two of his children. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) faces a police interrogation, and he may be in serious, serious trouble.
Also, during the week of October 19th – 23rd, we’ve got Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in an intense struggle with his dark side. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is in protective mode, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is getting more manic with this risky behavior she’s engaging in. And as we always do on early edition day, we talk about what’s happening the rest of this week, and then we get into what is ahead for next week. So let’s jump right into it.
The Young and the Restless: Nick’s Legal Trouble and Matt at Sharon’s
Wednesday, October 14th on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis sees Nick at Society, and Phyllis is accusing him of avoiding her and the GCAC since she owns it now. But Nick tells Phyllis about Matt’s car crash, and Nick suspects that Matt and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) orchestrated the whole thing. Phyllis does not think so, and she is afraid that Matt is hurt and needs help.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) shows up and pulls Nick away and tells him drug dealer Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell) was found alive, but in bad shape, and told the cops that Nick assaulted him. Joe also claimed he was not selling drugs. So Nick tells Adam that he flushed Joe’s drugs down the toilet. And Adam asks if Nick used any of the drugs, but he says no, and Adam believes him.
Y&R Spoilers: Matt’s Desperate Plea to Sharon
Over at Sharon’s place, Matt is rambling about head pain. Sharon asks how he got there, and Matt says he hid in the trunk of Sharon’s car. Matt is begging Sharon to help with the battle of good versus evil going on in his head. And Matt is begging Sharon to help him make all the violence and all the pain go away.
And then dark Matt takes over and kind of scares Sharon, but then good Matt gets control and starts crying. So Sharon is encouraging Matt not to let the darkness win. But then Nick shows up and goes psycho. He wants to kill Matt, but Sharon says she wants Matt to get professional help. So they’re arguing, and Sharon finally tells Nick, “Look, it’s my house, my rules.”
Young and Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Threatens Newmans
Adam taunts Phyllis, who says she’s going to take the Newmans down. Adam thinks Phyllis is going to fail and go bankrupt. And then Adam goes back to the new ranch and reports to Victor about Phyllis’s crazy talk. Victor admits Phyllis could be dangerous, but he also thinks she is going to just fail.
And then Adam tells Victor about Nick’s new legal troubles. So, Adam thinks Joe could be a real problem for Nick. But Adam also says, on the plus side, he doesn’t think that Nick relapsed. However, Adam warns Victor that Nick is obsessed with Matt again. Phyllis leaves Matt a voicemail asking him to call because she is worried.
Y&R Spoilers: The Abbotts Welcome Sally
Thursday, October 15th on The Young and the Restless, all the Abbotts are gathered at the family mansion. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is back in Genoa City, plus Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is already at the house. We’ve got Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and they are all celebrating Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) the night before he marries Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
It looks like she is there too, because Billy’s family welcomes Sally into the Abbott family. We’ve also got her spending time with her sister, because Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) gives Sally a heartfelt wedding present. We’re also going to see Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) soon. Sally’s grandmother is in town for Billy and Sally’s wedding, among some other surprise guests.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria in Trouble
Victor makes sure he’s a step ahead of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). It looks like Victor is getting suspicious because Victoria keeps disappearing. And when Victor asks where she’s been, Victoria changes the subject. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if Victor puts a tail on Victoria and finds out she’s meeting with somebody.
Matt is still at Sharon’s house, and she is still defending him. Sharon is worried Nick’s going to assault him. And then Matt just crashes on her couch. The guy’s a sleepy mess. Nick wants to murder him. Sharon wants him to get help. It’s messy. I bet she wins this one.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Billy and Sally’s Gatsby Wedding
Friday, October 16th on The Young and the Restless, today’s the day. It’s time for Sally and Billy’s epic Gatsby-themed wedding. It is being held at the GCAC. They’ve got these fabulous decorations up with the whole Roaring ’20s theme. So, you know, Phyllis, though, is going to involve herself, because she bought the place from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). So, I think she feels entitled to show up.
Fall The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm twists and turns at Billy and Sally’s wedding. Plus, Jason Thompson said in a recent interview, “Something at the wedding changes the direction of the storyline, and effects will be felt for decades. Plus, something serious happens with Jill.” Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) already told Billy she can’t make it to the wedding, and now he and Cane are very worried.
Y&R Spoilers: What’s Ahead October 19th – 23rd
October 19th – 23rd on The Young and the Restless, Billy and Sally’s elegant Gatsby-themed wedding carries over from Friday’s episode. Billy looks absolutely overjoyed seeing Sally about to walk down the aisle. Adam looks tense, like he wishes Sally was marrying him instead. Hopefully, Adam is going to keep his mouth zipped and won’t mess things up for the bride.
Also on hand at the wedding are best man Jack and bridesmaids Coco, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). We’ll see Ashley and Traci there, plus Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)’s there. Kyle is on hand, and so is Victoria, who is sitting with her and Billy’s kids, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott Newman (Sienna Mercuri). But Kyle’s eyes are all over Victoria. Plus, we’ve got Cane, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), and Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc). I’m also expecting Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Shocking Conclusion to Sally & Billy’s Wedding
Brand-new The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Billy and Sally’s big day ends with a shocking finale. It could be Billy and Sally’s baby arriving moments after Billy puts that wedding ring on Sally’s finger, because Jason Thompson said they have a newborn baby very, very soon after they tie the knot.
We should see Lily getting her follow-up test results soon, so we will know if her cancer has returned or not. I love that she told Cane about her cancer scare so that he can support her. They seem stronger than ever. I’m loving this dynamic. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) go public with their relationship, and we’ll see how things go for Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) being Phyllis and Lauren’s co-CEO.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Faces Uncertainty
Phyllis has borrowed way too much money to make these deals happen, and she is already in over her head but doesn’t seem to realize it. We’ll see how Patty’s storyline ends and if she crashes the wedding or holds off on her return until November sweeps, which begins on October 29th. Victoria and Kyle keep playing with fire. So, we’ll see if they behave themselves at the wedding or if they sneak off for a quickie.
We’ll find out if Matt’s dark side wins or if Sharon convinces Matt to listen to her and go get professional help. We’ll also see if Phyllis decides to cut ties with Matt or if she’s going to stick with him, because October The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis decides whether Matt is going to be part of her future.
I personally suspect Phyllis sticks with Matt, because she’s very worried about him now, and she’s worried about this car crash. Plus, it’s not like she has a lot of other romantic options in her life. Maybe if he goes and gets therapy, you know, fans will be a little more open to accepting this whole redemption arc.
Nick’s got to talk to Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) about his assault on Joe. It’s only Nick’s word against Joe’s that he had drugs on him, since Nick took them from him, because what Joe says is just that Nick assaulted him. So, we’ll also find out what lies ahead for Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow), who should be waking up from her overdose coma soon.
