A Long Island woman who is 76 years old was arrested after shooting her neighbor in the face with a flare gun in their retirement community. The two seemed to have problems over their pets. Woman Shoots Neighbor In Face At Long Island Retirement
A 76-year-old woman named Kathleen Schuman shot her 67-year-old neighbor, Richard Catrone, in the face with a flare gun. It seems the two have always had problems over their pets. His dog would get upset at her cat, and she would do nothing about it. However, he then asked her to keep her cat inside. This did not sit right with her, and she got her flare gun and shot him in the face. Richard ended up needing stitches and was appalled at what happened. He then lunged at her, grabbed her hair, and hit her. However, his initial reaction was to protect his dog and himself. Richard asked what was wrong with her and then the cops ended up getting called.
The Man Claims She Showed No Emotion Or Remorse
Richard is claiming that Kathleen showed no remorse or emotion for what she did.
“Kathleen showed no emotion. She claimed I was the devil, that I tried to murder her. She said, ‘I’m sorry I missed, sorry I missed.’ She actually moved out to live with her sister for a few months. She just moved back a week ago and he just keeps bothering her. I just asked her can you keep the cat inside and that started the situation.”
Yikes. The situation got completely out of hand, and everyone is shocked. However, Kathleen was arrested for what she did.
