We’re a little over halfway through the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, and there have already been so many heartbreaking, inspirational, and game-changing moments.

One of the most touching images from the Games was figure skater Max Naumov holding up a picture of himself with his mom and dad after making his Olympic debut in the men’s short program. Naumov lost both of his parents in January 2025 in the mid-air collision near Washington D.C. that claimed the lives of 67 people, including more than two dozen in the skating community. His parents, Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, were Russian pair skaters skaters-turned-coaches who supported their son’s Olympic dream.

Another dramatic moment came from skier Lindsey Vonn, who valiantly fought to return to the Games after un-retiring, but faced a last-minute setback when she injured her ACL just a week before the Opening Ceremony. Shortly after beginning her downhill event on February 8, Vonn crashed and had to be airlifted for medical attention. She later shared that she had “no regrets” about her journey.

As the Olympic Games continue to delivery stories of humanity and perseverance, here’s how you can tune into the events happening today, February 16, with this full schedule of what’s airing on linear TV.
