For a few years now, RHOBH househusband, Mauricio Umansky, and his sister, Sharon, have been in a legal battle. They have long believed that their father, Eduardo, is being abused by his girlfriend, Simin Tabibnia. The couple has been together for nearly two decades, but the amount of money she has allegedly spent is excessive. Now, the Umanskys are in court, and the fight is getting even stronger. The Fight For Mauricio Umansky’s Father
RHOBH fans have seen Mauricio Umansky’s mother, Estella, on the show in the earlier years. She even underwent a facelift, which she showed off to their friends. Yet, his father, Eduardo, was not a prominent figure, despite being a co-founder of The Agency. That is Mauricio’s real estate company, and it has raked in an excessive amount of money. After a certain point, Mauricio and his sister, Sharon, became concerned for Eduardo’s well-being. They thought that his longtime girlfriend, Simin Tabibnia, was hurting him and stealing his money.
Mauricio and Sharon filed for conservatorship. Moreover, they had a suit that stated Eduardo had been declining cognitively since 2021. The women had also gone at it, and things continued to be messy. Fast forward to 2026, and they are having their day in court, accusing Simin of spending around $401K on herself. So, what did she buy? Simin purchased gifts for herself and went under the knife for a facelift. The family is demanding the funds back, but Simin maintains that anything monetary was given to her by Eduardo. Moreover, she stated it was his choice:
“The alleged transfers occurred during an 18-year intimate romantic relationship between Simin and [Eduardo].” Any “payments were voluntarily made by [Eduardo].”

Interestingly enough, Simin also works at The Agency. She has been seen posing with Mauricio Umansky and at various events by his side as recently as 2023. Therefore, the timeline is a tad off. Regardless, the RHOBH star wants his father to be safe and not taken for any more money.
All Gifts
As long as this suit has been going on, Simin Tabibnia has maintained that anything she got from Eduardo Umansky has been gifts. She has not stolen from or hurt Mauricio Umansky’s father in any capacity. Those who saw this story had a lot to say about what was happening with the RHOBH star’s father. They felt that Simin should pay every red cent back:
- Of Simin took advantage of old dude. The only woman dumb enough to be a GF for 18 years is one with her hand in a fat wallet. I hope she has to payback every dime or go to jail.
- Wow she was cleaning him out. That’s not right.
- Nobody deserves this. Poor family. Hope justice is served.
While all of the family drama is unfolding, Mauricio is trying to live his best life. He was just spotted out on the town with Love Island USA star, Destiny Herzog. They were hanging out on Friday, April 3rd, at the Sunset Towers Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Not a bad distraction for the time being.
