Here’s a wholesome way to start your week: Mariska Hargitay and Lindsey Vonn — wearing matching “Fierce” baseball hats — just shared a series of photos showing the Olympic skier and the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star recreating the iconic “Olivia Benson face.”
In a May 3 Instagram post, Hargitay shared a photo carousel of the two women channelling varying degrees of “Benson.”
“That feeling when your hero tries to make [the] Olivia Benson face @lindseyvonn,” Hargitay captioned her post.

Vonn offered up her best Olivia Benson impression — for a few photos, at least — until eventually succumbing to laughter alongside her real-life pal. Vonn couldn’t resist poking fun at her attempts to match Hargitay’s trademark steely portrayal of one of the most iconic television characters ever.
“Tried to be as badass as you but couldn’t stay in character 😂 love you ❤️,” Vonn commented.

Law & Order fans couldn’t get enough of the besties posing as Benson. “Two fierce women of our time! You guys are the coolest,” one commented on Hargitay’s post, while another observed, “I think she was Olivia Benson in another lifetime.”
Fellow Olympian and Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim also chimed in, writing what we’re all thinking: “I’m so jealous omg.”
Lindsey Vonn loves watching her “amazing” friend Mariska Hargitay on Law & Order: SVU
Vonn and Hargitay are clearly thick as thieves. After the Olympian supported Hargitay at the premiere of the SVU star’s documentary My Mom Jayne, Vonn gushed on Instagram about how “proud” she was of her friend. And just this past February, Hargitay frequently visited the gold medalist in the wake of Vonn’s harrowing crash that put her entire skiing career in jeopardy.

In an April interview with TODAY’s Craig Melvin, Vonn revealed that Hargitay made to sure to check on her often while she recovered from her accident at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
“Mariska’s been — she came to the hospital to see me,” Vonn told Melvin. “She was at my race. And, like, I love Mariska. She’s amazing. Her and her husband are just salt of the earth good people. And she’s always, like, FaceTiming me and checking in. And almost every night I’m watching SVU. I’m like, ‘New episode coming up!’”
