Is there a new SNL episode tonight? (April 11, 2026)
Yes! SNL returns tonight with a new episode, featuring Colman Domingo as Host and Anitta as the Musical Guest. Both stars will make their SNL debuts during tonight’s April 11 show.
Fans have been waiting for Domingo’s return to sketch comedy for a while now. Believe it or not, he starred opposite Kate McKinnon in a three-season LOGO TV sketch series called The Big Gay Sketch Show from 2008 to 2010.

The 56-year-old star alluded to this full-circle moment after he was officially announced as Host on March 26:
“Finally. Back to my sketch history,” he wrote in a March 26 X (formerly Twitter) post. “We will have fun.”
Domingo is promoting his latest film, the Michael Jackson biopic Michael, hitting theaters everywhere on April 24.

After tonight’s episode, there will be three more new episodes remaining in the season. Here’s the breakdown for the final three episodes of Season 51:
- May 2: Olivia Rodrigo
- May 9: Matt Damon / Noah Kahan
- May 16: Will Ferrell / Paul McCartney
It doesn’t get much bigger than that, does it? May will be a whirlwind month for SNL fans as Olivia Rodrigo pulls double duty as Host and Musical Guest on May 2, while perennial fan favorite Matt Damon follows (with singer-songwriter Noah Kahan performing) the following week on May 9.
Then, Season 51 closes out with former cast member Will Ferrell as Host for the May 16 episode. He will be joined by the legendary Paul McCartney as Musical Guest. (McCartney first performed on the show all the way back in 1980.)
Season 51 of SNL may be ending, but it’s certainly going out in style.
