Mikayla Nogueira Admits Ex-Husband’s Overdose Led To Their Divorce

Speaking on the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast, Nogueira recalled the painful incident, saying she woke up one night and realized Hawken was not in bed. She eventually found him unresponsive in another room and dialed 911.
The internet personality described her ex’s condition as “completely hunched over, unconscious.”
Paramedics attended to Hawken, who recovered, but Nogueira said the incident had a long-lasting impact on her. “It just traumatizes you,” she said, adding that she saw it as part of a deterioration of his mental health.
By the final year of their marriage, Nogueira admitted that she no longer recognized the person she had married.
She also admitted that her career, the stress that came with it, and her time away from home also impacted their relationship. According to Nogueira, she was too early in her career to understand marriage, while Hawken was too early in his sobriety journey.
