Jessica Tarlov is known for her part in discussions on The Five for Fox News, often offering an alternative to the other hosts. Recently, however, she has gotten a response from President Donald Trump. Notably, this follows his talking about her while on the show last month.
Jessica Tarlov Was One Of Two Fox News Personalities Named In Trump’s Truth Social Post
Tarlov is a prominent Democratic political strategist. She joined Fox News in 2017, often serving as a counterpoint to some of the network’s hosts.
Many know Tarlov best for serving as one of the co-hosts on The Five. Recently, however, Tarlov found herself the subject by scrutiny of President Donald Trump, who named her in a recent Truth Social post.
On April 6, Trump wrote on the social media platform he helped found to air his grievances about two Fox News hosts. These were Tarlov and Shannon Bream, who is known for being the Sunday anchor.
Trump particularly criticized Bream’s Sunday interview with Rep. Jake Auchincloss. He wrote, “Tell Shannon Bream of [Fox News] that it’s not the Save Act, it’s the Save America Act, a big difference!” He continued, “Also, when she insists on having lightweight Democrat Congressmen, such as Jake Auchincloss, on her not very hard-hitting show, she should correct them when they spew out Democrat propaganda and lies. She never does!”
President Donald Trump Previously Discussed Tarlov During An Episode Of The Five Back In March
As Trump continued, he then called out Tarlov, calling her job into question. He shared, “I always close deals, unlike the Dems, and did great with China in every way, also, unlike the Dems! For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air.”
Trump concluded his share, feeling that people didn’t enjoy watching her on The Five. He shared, “She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television, a real loser!”
As Trump signed off, “People cannot stand watching her. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has been critical of Tarlov. He previously criticized her while calling into The Five back in March. At the time, he shared that he believed that the show would be better without her.
For her part, Tarlov responded to this on social media. Taking to X, she expressed that she wished she had been there that day. She continued, “But I definitely would’ve said he’s even inflating his numbers to 42%!”
