MLK Day Quadrupleheader: All the NBA Games on NBC & Peacock This Week (January 19-20)

MLK Day Quadrupleheader: All the NBA Games on NBC & Peacock This Week (January 19-20)

Want to know what a jam-packed NBA schedule looks like? Try this on for size: The NBA on NBC is set to feature almost half of the NBA’s entire 30-team lineup over two consecutive days this week, including an insane quadrupleheader four-game stretch on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 19).

Six games, 12 teams, and an amazing constellation of pro hoops star power all over the court: That’s the formula behind this week’s stacked slate of NBA games coming to NBC and Peacock on Monday, January 19 and Tuesday, January 20. For NBA fans, it’s a can’t-miss bonanza of basketball at its best — and we’re here to break down the complete two-day schedule so you don’t have to miss a single minute!

NBA on NBC and Peacock: The complete quadrupleheader game schedule for MLK Day (January 19)

Monday’s January 19 game lineup on NBC and Peacock is definitely the first of its kind: From 1 p.m. ET all the way through prime time, NBC Sports is loading up on hoops with a super-sized NBA quadrupleheader game slate that drives hard to the hoop with a little bit of everything.

Okay… maybe there’s actually a lot of everything. We’ve got a streaming-only Peacock exclusive to get the day started, followed by a pair of cross-conference matchups (including a huge East-West showdown that features the reigning and still red-hot NBA champs), and a late-game finale that pits two of the Eastern Conference’s best against one another for the fourth and final time this regular season.

Here’s the complete NBA quadrupleheader schedule of MLK Day games coming to NBC and Peacock on Monday, January 19:

As you can see from the schedule above, Peacock’s the only place to catch the 1 p.m. ET matchup between Milwaukee and Atlanta. The day’s remaining three games all will broadcast live on NBC, and also stream in simulcast on Peacock.

We’re keeping an extra-sharp eye on the 8 p.m. contest between Boston and Detroit, two squads that’ve already met three times this season (and have played each other close in each game). Detroit leads the season series by a 2-1 margin, so Monday’s matchup will determine if the Pistons can claim full bragging rights over the Celtics… or if Boston can even the score with a 2-2 series split.

NBA on NBC

The NBA is officially back on NBC and Peacock, with exclusive games every week across broadcast and streaming featuring some of the biggest stars in the game.

The action kicks off every week with Peacock NBA Monday, featuring exclusive games streaming only on Peacock. Then on Tuesday nights, check out NBC‘s Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, which features two marquee games in primetime. Once Sunday Night Football wraps up, the NBA will also take over weekends with Sunday Night Basketball, with a primetime showcase game every week to wrap up the weekend.

Remember, if you’re streaming NBA games on Peacock, check out features like Courtside Live and Can’t Miss Highlights that take your fan experience to the next level.

The action rolls right along on Tuesday, January 20, when Coast 2 Coast Tuesday dials up a pair of Western Conference contests powered by some of the league’s biggest names.

Here’s NBC Sports’ NBA schedule for Tuesday, January 20:

Fun fact: Both games on Tuesday’s schedule also double as storyline-laced matchups within the NBA’s 5th annual AWS NBA Rivals Week. What is AWS NBA Rivals Week? Straight from the NBA, it’s a one-week January series that highlights “classic and emerging rivalries between teams and players.”

That description definitely fits both of this week’s Coast 2 Coast Tuesday pairings: an NBA on NBC showdown between Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs vs. Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets; followed by a nightcap matchup between LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets.
