Less than a week after The Bear season four came out, FX has already promised us a fifth season of the Emmy-winning series. And why wouldn’t they? It would be silly not to give the people what they want, especially when they’re family. “The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide and their response to this season—as seen through incredibly high viewership—has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons,” FX chairman John Landgraf shared in a statement for the announcement. “Year-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television, and we are excited that they will continue to tell this magnificent story.” So, what’s cooking, cousin?
Who’s back in the kitchen?
While the season five announcement didn’t give any specifics, FX named Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, and recurring cast members Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon as season four stars. The last time we saw Carmy, he was leaving The Bear but who knows where that will take him in season five.
So, when does the new season of The Bear come out?
Right now, FX says that The Bear is expected to be done, plated, and served in 2026. Get your reservations ready.
