General Hospital delivers a new Aussie on the scene. Jude (Wil Traval), the hunk who picked up Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Brown Dog Bar, is not a rando, because General Hospital has him on contract. So, who is he? Based on some red flags, he may be the son of bad guy Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché).
Today we’re going to talk about whether Jude has ties to General Hospital‘s past and what signs indicate he could be part of the Jacks family. Let’s get into these red flags.
General Hospital: Jude Is Here to Stay
So, after Britt’s co-workers walked out on her at the Brown Dog Bar, Jude rolled up on Britt looking for some action. Wil Traval, who plays Jude, says he was brought in for an arc. But then, after a week, the powers that be at General Hospital put him on contract. So, the guy is not going anywhere. Now, despite Britt and Jude saying they wanted sex without complications, he may be Britt’s next love interest.
The Jane Name Red Flag on GH
And there was a red flag right off the bat that Jude may be connected to the Jacks family. So, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is supposedly off sailing the world, and his evil brother Jerry is on the run. The only Jacks family member currently on General Hospital is Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). But General Hospital dropped a hint that Jude could be connected to their family.
So, he and Britt were coming up with aliases so Jude and Britt could have an uncomplicated night of passion with no strings attached, but they wanted names to yell out in passion. So, Britt suggested the most generic names possible. She said, “Why not John and Jane?”
Those just happened to be the names of Jax and Jerry’s parents. And Jude had this very visceral reaction specifically to the name Jane. So, that suggests Jude may be part of the Jacks family, because the idea of the name Jane being used while getting freaky with Britt seemed to put him off. You know, it feels like it was done for a very specific reason.
General Hospital: Is Jude the Son of Jerry Jacks?
So, Jude could hypothetically be a younger brother of Jax and Jerry we’ve never heard about. But since their parents, John and Lady Jane, were happily married their entire adult lives until John’s death, and there have only been the two sons mentioned, I can’t imagine there’s a secret child, or that Jane had a son who isn’t John’s child that we just haven’t heard of. If Jude is related to Joss’ family, that would certainly explain why he was icked out about Britt calling herself Jane.
We don’t know too much about Jax and Jerry’s dad, John. But since Jude didn’t react to the name John, that feels like a dead end on him having some secret son. But instead of being the brother of Jerry and Jax, it could be that one of them is Jude’s father, making him Lady Jane’s grandson. And in terms of age gaps, Jasper Jacks is the least likely father option.
Wil Traval is forty-six, so his character is likely close in age. It’s just too close, because Ingo Rademacher is fifty-five. So, it’s not likely that Jude would be his son. But Sebastian Roché, who played Jerry Jacks, is sixty-two. So, that’s enough of an age gap there for Jude to be Jerry’s secret son. And it would make more sense for Jude to be Jerry’s son, since General Hospital spoilers say that a new villain is coming to Port Charles.
Hudson, Joss, and JJE on GH
So we know that Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), who is fairly new to JJE, came to Port Charles trying to get Josslyn to appoint someone else CEO of JJE. Hudson might have been counting on Joss being too busy or disinterested to get involved, and initially she was, but now she’s weaponizing the company to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Meanwhile, Hudson is her new sidekick, but we know he’s reporting to somebody else. Our leaker said that Hudson was linked to the next big villain, but the inside source said Joss’ new flunky is not himself the new big villain, despite the whole thing with Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) being really scared of him. So, Hudson may be answering to the new villain, and that guy could actually be Jude.
It would be kind of random for another Aussie to just show up in Port Charles out of nowhere. And so far, they haven’t mentioned Jude’s real name or his full name on General Hospital, because he and Britt are using fake names. But also, he has a J name. We’ve got Jasper and Jerry. So why not Jude? They may not be mentioning names because if his last name is Jacks, that would certainly get Britt’s attention, because she knows Jax.
Not only does Britt know who Jax is, but she had a one-night stand with him back in 2021, the last time she broke up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). So, it would be kind of a wild coincidence, or not a coincidence at all, if Britt rebounded from this breakup from Jason by hopping in bed with Jax’s nephew, or his brother, if they go there and make Jane his mom, not his grandma.

General Hospital: The Villainous Theory
So, there are lots of red flags to consider about who Jude really is. And if Britt’s new bed buddy is the new villain, then Jude being Jerry Jacks’ son makes a lot of sense, because Sebastian Roché’s character was an absolute monster. So it stands to reason his son would be bad to the bone, too.
Another red flag is the interest in JJE. Whoever Hudson’s been talking to didn’t want Joss to take over as CEO. Hudson reported back that Joss decided to take the reins. Hudson said he tried to talk her out of it. But if Jude is trying to get hold of JJE, that’s a red flag that he might be a member of the Jacks family. Remember, new WSB boss, Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard), told Joss to take the CEO position because the WSB was interested in some of JJE‘s subsidiaries. So, it sounds like some of them are shady, and that might be why Hudson’s contact wants JJE.
Jax & Jerry’s Complex Relationship on GH
And that’s another red flag in and of itself that he might be Jerry’s son. If you are a longtime General Hospital watcher, you may recall Jax and Jerry have a complicated relationship. Jax was always the good guy. Jerry was a super villain. He poisoned the Port Charles water supply, took hostages at the Metro Court, and generally terrorized the whole town. And yeah, I think Jax cared about Jerry as a brother, but he did so many awful things that affected people that Jax cared about. So, he had to conclude his big brother was evil.
So, Jerry might have tasked his son with targeting Jax’s company, JJE, to use it for dastardly reasons. And if Jude is his son, then I’m sure Jerry would push Jude to do his dirty work. That way, Jerry can remain out of sight, because the WSB is still searching for him since he escaped from Steinmauer seven years ago.
Whether Jude is Jerry’s son or not, the Jane name reaction could be a huge clue. Later this week, Britt is bragging to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that her mystery man, who she’s calling Crackerjack, rocked her world four times that night. So, while Jude might be a villain, Britt is pretty impressed with his bedroom skills. So, we’ll have to wait and see if Jude is part of Josslyn’s family and if he is the big bad villain that we’ve been expecting for quite a while.
