The actor attended his nephew’s wedding in Santa Barbara over the weekend, joining relatives and familiar Hollywood faces for the celebration.
Although the occasion brought the family together for a joyful milestone, Lowe’s appearance carried added emotional weight following Fiona’s death by suicide on September 29.

Chad Shares Message About Faith After Fiona’s Death
Before appearing at his nephew’s wedding with his wife, Chad Lowe returned to Instagram with a more personal glimpse of how he was navigating Fiona’s death.
As the Los Angeles Times reported, the clip featured author and psychologist Gerry Hussey speaking on Olivia Hunt’s podcast, “On Healing,” about spirituality and what may follow death.
Asked about God, Hussey described moving beyond ordinary human existence through meditation or a transcendental experience, saying people could discover a connection to everything that exists.
“And there’s nothing there, but peace and love,” Hussey continued, adding, “When we die. Where do we go? We return to a state of peace and love.”
Chad did not add a separate written statement to the post. Instead, he shared Hussey’s words about death and the possibility of peace afterward.
Chad Lowe’s Family Keeps Community Support Private

Chad’s Instagram message offered one public glimpse into the family’s grief, while another detailed how people around the family had offered support.
A few days prior, The Blast reported that families connected to Fiona’s school had offered meal trains and GoFundMe accounts, but the Lowes chose to keep assistance within their closest circle.
A source told Page Six, “Several families from Fiona’s school have reached out offering how to help,” before explaining, “Meal trains as well as GoFundMe accounts were offered because everyone seems to want to help. They are only sharing things with their very small, private circle.”
The report also revealed that the family declined the offers, choosing to accept assistance only from people closest to them.

Chad’s Friend Recalls Fiona After Palisades Fire

The school’s support for students and staff came as people who knew Fiona recalled her personality and the upheaval her family had experienced before her death.
In a report, The Blast detailed comments from Mykesha Robinson, a music executive whose daughter, Faith, had been close friends with Fiona.
Robinson revealed that the girls met at Palisades Charter Elementary School. Faith had been struggling to fit in when Fiona approached her and asked, “Hey, do you want to be friends? Do you want to go jump rope?”
They quickly became close, were nicknamed “FiFi,” and were described as “two peas in a pod.” Robinson remembered Fiona as “sweet,” “loving,” and “so kind.”
The report also revisited the Palisades Fire, which destroyed the Lowe family’s home and displaced them. The blaze also destroyed the elementary school the girls had attended.
Robinson reflected on the disaster when discussing Fiona’s death. “Something happened when the fires happened. They lost everything,” she admitted.
She also said Faith had tried to reconnect with Fiona online about two weeks before her death. According to her, Faith created an Instagram account and requested to follow her former friend, but the request was not accepted.

“I love you so much Fiona,” Mabel wrote, adding, “I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.”
The images showed the sisters at different stages of their lives. Another captured them as toddlers, with Fiona wrapping her arms around Mabel’s neck while they stood inside a crib.
