Goth’s representative addressed the confusion after the Instagram post attracted attention. “Mia Goth is not active on any social media accounts, including Instagram,” her rep said in a statement to Just Jared.
Her representative also told Us Weekly that “Mia has and never will engage with social media.”
The Fan Page Post Arrived Two Days After Her Divorce Filing
The October 8 Instagram post featured a selfie of Goth wearing a shirt with the words “My ex is my biggest fan” across the front. A lipstick kiss emoji accompanied the image.
With Goth having filed for divorce just two days earlier, the message invited speculation about whether it referred to LaBeouf. However, the post has now been confirmed to have appeared on a fan page and was not posted by Goth herself.
Goth filed her divorce documents in Los Angeles on October 6, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The filing listed July 28, 2025, as the couple’s separation date, placing their breakup more than a year before the latest legal move.

The divorce petition also outlines Goth’s requests concerning the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabel. As The Blast previously reported, the actress is seeking primary legal and physical custody. She also wants to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to either her or LaBeouf.
Goth further stated that “the exact nature and extent” of the parties’ separate property, community property and debts are “currently unknown.” She is asking to amend the petition once that information is established.

Goth and LaBeouf’s history stretches back to December 2012, when they met on the set of “Nymphomaniac: Vol II.” They dated for four years before exchanging vows during an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in October 2016.
The pair split two years later, and LaBeouf subsequently dated FKA Twigs. After that relationship ended, he and Goth reconciled in March 2020. They later welcomed Isabel, with LaBeouf confirming her birth in emails shared in August 2022 amid the controversy surrounding his departure from “Don’t Worry Darling.”
