Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Disney dress-up days are getting another round of attention online. An old video circulating on social media shows Blanchard dressed as Anna from “Frozen,” sitting in the snow and shivering as she reenacts a scene from the animated movie. An off-camera participant joins in, turning the snowy setting into their own version of Arendelle. But the costume isn’t the only thing getting people talking. Viewers are zeroing in on how old Blanchard might have been when the footage was filmed, while others have plenty to say about the performance itself.

In the resurfaced footage, Blanchard wears an Anna costume and recites dialogue from “Frozen” while sitting outside in the snow. The person recording appears to recite the other character’s lines, seemingly playing Oaken and using an accent resembling his voice in the movie. Some commenters believe that person is Blanchard’s mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. However, the camera operator’s identity has not been confirmed.

The apparent back-and-forth caught one viewer’s attention, with one user writing, “Yet her mom is recording her play in the snow.” For others, the biggest surprise was the suggestion that the clip captured an adult Blanchard rather than a little girl playing dress-up.

Claims About Her Age Need One Important Correction

Several commenters questioned Blanchard’s age in the footage. “Mind you she was in HER TWENTIES HERE,” one user wrote. Another commenter asked, “Wasn’t she like 20-something here ??? I am embarrassed for her.”

Disney lists “Frozen” as having opened on November 27, 2013. Blanchard’s birth date is July 27, 1991, meaning she was already 22 when the film arrived in theaters, though the exact recording date remains unverified.

The Disney wardrobe also became a talking point. “What was their monthly budget for wigs and costumes?” one user asked. Meanwhile, someone else wrote, “Lol if I was her, I would never be on social media again.”

One viewer took the opportunity to joke about their own enthusiasm for Disney. “This video makes me not want to be a Disney adult anymore. Who wants all my merchandise?” someone commented.

Some commenters kept their responses short. “That’s enough internet for me today,” one Instagram user wrote. Someone else reacted just as bluntly, writing, “never watching that sh-t again.”

The Video Comes From Before Dee Dee Blanchard’s Murder

Gypsy was 23 when her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, was killed in June 2015 at their home near Springfield, Missouri. Her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, carried out the fatal stabbing, and Gypsy participated in planning the murder.

The investigation exposed a disturbing history behind the mother-daughter pair’s public image. At Godejohn’s trial, Gypsy testified that Dee Dee forced her to use a wheelchair and undergo unnecessary medical tests to obtain charitable donations and gifts. She also described physical abuse and efforts to prevent her from leaving.

In July 2016, Gypsy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and received a 10-year prison sentence. The Greene County prosecutor acknowledged her mother’s prolonged abuse when explaining the plea agreement, while emphasizing that Gypsy remained responsible for her role in the killing.

Godejohn was convicted of first-degree murder in November 2018 and sentenced to life in prison without parole in February 2019. Gypsy was released from prison in December 2023.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ken Urker’s Relationship Began With Prison Letters

After serving time for her role in her mother’s murder, Blanchard’s personal life became a new focus of public attention, including her on-and-off relationship with Ken Urker, which began while she was still behind bars.

Long before they became parents, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker connected while she was serving her prison sentence. Urker began writing to Blanchard after watching the documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest,” and their correspondence eventually developed into a romance.

Urker proposed during a prison visit in 2018, but their engagement ended the following year. Their story picked up again in April 2024, after Blanchard announced her separation from husband Ryan Anderson. That December, Blanchard and Urker welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker.

Their relationship later ended, although they continued co-parenting Aurora, according to Page Six. Urker died on October 1, 2026, his 34th birthday.
