TODAY co-anchor Craig Melvin made a correction in the middle of his interview with the two main stars of You, Me & Tuscany — Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page — and it had them both in stitches.

During his sit-down interview segment with the romantic comedy’s lead actors, Melvin used the words “pretty handsome winemaker” to describe 38-year-old Page’s role in the film.

As diehard fans of the former Bridgerton leading man may argue, that description doesn’t do Page justice. And Melvin was quick to correct himself.

After a clip from the film was shown on-screen, Melvin was sure to set the record straight for everyone watching.

“By the way, correction. On-air correction here. I said ‘pretty handsome.’ I’ll be ridiculed on the interwebs all day,” he lamented.

“The VERY handsome Regé-Jean Page,” Melvin clarified as Page and Bailey both cracked up laughing.

“I slipped him a twenty,” Page said to his co-star, joking that that was the reason for Melvin’s sudden change of heart.

The on-screen chemistry between Page and Bailey was also a topic of conversation during the interview, with the TODAY co-anchor marveling about how well the two worked together in the upcoming film, which hits theaters Friday, April 10.

“You guys, you say a lot with your eyes in this film,” Melvin said. “How does one go about doing that? Do you practice it? Does it come naturally?”

Bailey responded that it comes naturally. “It was so great to work with Regé on this film, and being in Tuscany, one of the most beautiful places in the world, there’s not much that we had to complain about,” she explained.

What is You, Me & Tuscany about?

The romantic comedy stars Bailey as Anna, a woman in her twenties who gave up on her dreams of becoming a chef and has made several bad choices in life. As the film’s synopsis reads: “When Anna loses her house-sitting job (and housing) in one fell swoop, a chance encounter with Matteo — a handsome Italian who happens to have a villa sitting empty in Tuscany — will inspire her to jet off for Italy, against the advice of her always-honest bestie, Claire (Home Before Dark’s Aziza Scott).”

But when Anna decides to crash at Matteo’s villa without permission for a night, his mom, Gabriella, (Isabella Ferrari) shows up at the house without warning. “In a panic, Anna allows Gabriella to believe that she is Matteo’s fiancée,” the synopsis reads. “That little lie becomes a big problem, though, when Matteo’s cousin, Michael (Regé-Jean Page) shows up, and Anna discovers that the heat between them may ignite a fire that will transform her life.”
