Marjorie Taylor Greene has been making headlines with her recent television appearances, especially in light of her recent resignation from Congress. Recently, she got into a discussion with former politician and television personality Joe Scarborough during one such appearance. During the moment, she ended up having the correct Scarborough on the air multiple times.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Recently Appeared With Joe Scarborough On Real Time With Bill Maher
Greene previously served as the U.S. representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district. Starting this position in 2021, she ultimately announced her resignation from Congress in late 2025, following a dispute with President Donald Trump.
Greene’s last day was on January 5, 2026. Around this time, she has been making headlines with various media appearances.

Recently, Greene appeared on an episode of Real Time With Bill Maher alongside Joe Scarborough. Both served as panelists during last Friday’s episode.
At the time, the two discussed journalist Don Lemon’s recent arrest. This followed his presence at an anti-ICE protest at a St. Paul, Minnesota, church.
As noted by The Wrap, Lemon faces charges under two federal statutes. These were conspiracy to deprive rights and violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances, or “FACE,” Act. This act partially prevents one from interfering with someone’s right to religious freedom, as protected by the First Amendment.
Greene Appeared To Have Corrected Scarborough A Few Times Before He Realized His Mistake
On her end, Greene supported the decision to indict the journalist, saying that Lemon violated a place of worship. She claimed, “That’s not journalism, that’s activism,” noting how he compared parishioners to “white supremacists.” She added, “That’s not First Amendment, going in and harassing people in the middle of church.”
During the discussion, Scarborough countered, “If I can disagree here, I think the people that went into the church, that were the protesters, if under the Faith Act.” At this point, Greene corrected the name to “the FACE Act.”

However, Scarborough didn’t appear to hear her and continued referring to the act as “the Faith Act.” Greene corrected him once again, with Scarborough responding, “Faith, right.” They continued going back and forth like this until Scarborough appeared to realize his error.
Scarborough explained, “Oh, ‘FACE,’ I thought it was, ‘You Gotta Have Faith,’ because it was in [a] church.” This caused the studio audience to burst out into laughter, leaving Greene and Scarborough to further debate the issue. For his part, Scarborough felt that Lemon’s arrest was “meant to scare other reporters.”
