Pennsylvania Parents Arrested For Keeping Children Locked Up
Parents from Pennsylvania are going to have a hard time in jail, as they were arrested for keeping their children locked away. James Russell Kahl, 65, and Carly Kahl, 41, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment. However, the police found three deadbolts on the doors to their rooms. However, the children had no food or water either. The children were between the ages of 5 and 14. The police could not even explain what kind of environment it was. However, there was also a camera that let the dad look at them. Some of the other police said it was sickening, and they could not believe it.
Family Member Comes Forward About The Situation
Thankfully, the children were found in this environment because a family member spoke up.
“We are very, very happy that a family member was willing to come forward and report this to us. We are very happy with our Children and Youth Services, who removed these children, and our Belle Vernon state police, that continued this investigation long after the children were removed to make the arrest that they did today,”
The kids were removed and are getting to a better place. However, this was a heartbreaking story that no one could believe. Now the children are safe and they won’t be going back to their parents.

It seems as though they were able to arrest Carly and James for what they had done to their children. One appeared to be shocked with a stun gun. They had no food or water and were locked away. However, this is no way for children to live or for parents to treat their children. However, people are shocked that this would happen and cannot believe what they did.
